My father-in-law built this clock over 30 years ago. It was from a kit but you would never know that by looking at it. I remember going down to his house and I noticed the clock was stopped. I asked him if there was something wrong with it and he said no, he just didn't need to know it was 3:00a.m! It had been waking him up so he came down and stopped it.

Hey, I think this qualifies as architectural drawing, of a sort. Nice!
Great drawing, Love it!
Nice! The proportions are really good and it has that perfect stately grandfather clock look. I like your little story as well :>
Hey Kathy,
I got your nice comment about the painting of the old man. Don't sigh, keep painting.
You obviously have some drawing skill. I might suggest, however, that you try mixing your paint to match the true color of what you're looking at. The colors you're using seem to be straight out of the tube. Try mixing it up some. You'll like the results.
Thanks Chuck! I have only been trying all this for about 2 months now and the only thing so far I have mixed with the paint is water! But I am going to give using more then 1 color a try. I just don't want to end up with "mud" color. :-)
