Been so long!

Wow! I didn't think it had been so long since I had been here! This has been one busy year! My new art love is doodling. I just can't stop! :-) I have to scan the ones I have done in the last few days and add them here. I have also been quilting again. I'll post some photos of what I have finished, here as well. I have been working on my art journals as well. I have been getting the pages ready. I think I like doing that more then writing in them.

Cabinet Cards

Here are the cabinet cards I altered for a swap I am in. I don't think of it as destroying the card I think of it as bringing it back to life! They sit in Antique shops in dirty old boxes gathering dust when they could be altered and made beautiful again! :-) I don't think I have ever seen one where the person is smiling. I wonder why?

Cayman Islands

If I ever won the lottery I would build a little house here. I just love it here. We go in the summer during their off season and there are no crowds. The water is about 82, sunny with clear water.

Here I am in the Cayman's. I will add some new photos now that I know how to do it.

Wow! I can't believe it's been almost a year since I have posted to my blog. I really need to get busy and use this thang!! :-)

We are on vacation right now in the Cayman Islands. 2 more dives and I will have 100!! WOOHOO! I never thought in a million years I would be scuba diving. I will put some photos up of some of our dives. I hope the weather clears up. It's cloudy again today. I would be so nice a afford a place here but there is no way unless I won the lottery! I think I could get a place on one of the smaller islands though. Grand Cayman is getting so built up.

New Swaps!

These are the ATC's for 2 swaps I am in called Distressing Times and Angel's among us. For some reason I had a hard time with the Angel ones. Could not think of anything. They came along slowly.

This Week

I don't think I am going to be getting very much done this week. It's carnival time! The heat Monday and Tuesday was SO bad, but we did have a storm come through and it did cool things down a little. It went from 98 to 68 in about 1/2 hour last night. I joined 2 more ATC swaps Angels Among Us and Distressing Times. I am really liking this new group I joined. They have a lot of swaps going on all the time it seems. So there is a lot to choose from!

Well one of the groups I am in just decided to close which makes me sad. I hope to be able to keep in touch with all the great people I have met and traded with on there. SO I am going to add more of my ATC's here. They are all for trade EXCEPT for the Pennies Coin tags. I am thinking about sending it to Somerset. Who knows they make like it!!!

Well I have joined yet another ATC Group. Bev suggested it to me. It looks like there is a lot of activity going on there and I joined a Mona swap already! Now to get busy!!!
