Flowers

I did these just to do them. I don't have many flowers outside anymore. I have a really bad back so taking care of a flower bed is something I can't do anymore. I do have some butterfly bushes though. I am going to have to see if I can sketch them once the heat lets up. I am not a heat person. Give me fall, winter and spring any time!

My feeder

I have two feeders on the deck. One for the birds and one for the bees. So far it has worked keeping the bees busy.

Finch

I have some gold finches that come to the feeders. My daughter thought they were someones bird that got out. She had never seen them.

Another one

I will have to dig up the photos I took of my hummingbird. They are just so quick!!

Hummingbird

This is the type of Hummingbird that come to my feeder on the deck. They don't stay still long enough to really sketch them.

Church

This is the church that is down the street from me. Now that I have looked at it it looks nothing like the other one that I thought it looked like. This one looks more like a castle to me. But it is a church. I am going to try some water colors on it. I also took some photos of the real thing so I can compair.

Not sure how to make something look empty or clear. This is an old bottle my mom used to use when she ironed. It has a sprinkler as the lid.

Challenge#10 Hand

This is my hand. I think a hand is one of the hardest things to draw. And just so you know that sketch did have 6 fingers. I kept wondering why it looked so strange.

I drew this shoe over 10 years ago and I was very happy with it! I can't believe I found it in ALL the papers I have.
